International Partnerships
Researchers at the ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï participate in numerous important international projects and platforms. Additionally, the University is committed to internationalization throughout the organization and has joined various international networks.
These partnerships provide a helpful framework for exchange and cooperation as well as ensuring that the University is involved in international debates on research and science policy and can be present with a stronger voice.
University networks
Active membership in university networks promotes lasting and trust-based relationships that support, among others, joint research projects, the exchange of best practices and the use of research infrastructures. The ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï is particularly involved in "The Guild" and "ENLIGHT".
Platforms
The ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï houses a number of collaboration platforms that bring together international researchers on important topics. By providing in-kind support, the ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï offers these international platforms a home. For example, it hosts three “Global Research Networks” of the “Future Earth” initiative.
UniBE initiatives
With initiatives on various topics, the ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï pools expertise and fosters international networking. In this way, it sets a further focus on internationalization. For example, the "Initiative Afrique" strengthens the ºÚÁϳԹÏ's many years of experience in cooperation with African partners.
UniBE International
The UniBE International office provides researchers who are new to the university with advice and information on starting work at the university and on life in Switzerland. UniBE International also coordinates among others the ºÚÁϳԹÏ's participation in the university networks ENLIGHT and The Guild.
