How to use Zoom
Studying and working in groups
Zoom is ideal for regular meetings in study and work groups. You can exchange ideas, discuss content, clarify open questions, and meet even when not everyone is in the same location.
For presentations, group work, or exam preparation, you can share your screen and collaborate on slides, documents, or other materials.
Breakout rooms are useful when you’re working in larger groups and want to split into smaller teams for short periods, for example, for discussions, working on individual tasks, or peer feedback.
Use a whiteboard to brainstorm and visualize ideas
Zoom's digital whiteboard is particularly useful when you want to gather ideas, sketch out concepts, or organize content collaboratively. This can be helpful, for example, during brainstorming sessions, when planning group work, visualizing relationships, or explaining solutions.
The Zoom Whiteboard is included in the Zoom license and can be used both during and outside of a Zoom meeting. To use a whiteboard outside of a meeting, you must log in with your Unibe Campus account via SSO (unibe-ch).
Note: Do not place any personal or sensitive data, copyrighted media, or research data on your digital boards.
